The origin of Brazil Fazenda Primavera
Fazenda Primavera, located in the municipality of Angelândia in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This farm is situated in a unique region that is at the transition between two biomes, the Atlantic Forest and the Cerrado. This unique location, combined with the elevation (1000 to 1050 meters above sea level) and climate (average temperatures of 20-24 degrees Celsius and annual precipitation of 1,000 to 1,300 mm), results in conditions that are ideal for growing specialty coffee.
Fazenda Primavera is also outfitted with state of the art processing facilities, including a 24,000 m² drying patio, 14 electric dryers, and equipment for processing Natural, Pulped Natural, Honey, and fully Washed coffees. The farm cultivates predominately Red and Yellow Catuai varieties of coffee beans, but has also been adding new varieties such as Topazio and Geisha.
